HISTORY
A new chapter in a long story.
The building at 1274 Logan Street has been adapting to serve communities for more than a century.
Originally built as a U.S. Army barracks in Ohio during World War I, it later served as a school and church before being moved to Noblesville in 1938. It remained a church for decades before beginning a new life as the Logan Street Sanctuary, an intimate listening room for musicians from around the country and beyond.
In 2019, the Noblesville Preservation Alliance purchased the building, renamed it Preservation Hall, restored its exterior, protected its history, and continued its tradition as a home for arts, culture, and community.
We're grateful to be the next stewards of that story.
We believe preservation and activation go hand in hand. Honoring what came before doesn't mean freezing a place in time. It means caring for what makes it special while keeping it useful, inviting, and alive.
Logan Street Theater is simply the next chapter for 1274 Logan Street—a place with a long history of bringing people together, ready to do it all over again in new ways.
